     "The Russian Song" is a professional vocal ensemble rooted in the best traditions of the Russian music.  The repertoire of the ensemble embraces church music, Russian folk, popular songs, and romances. The ensemble performs classical works of European composers as well. The diversity of the repertoire demonstrates our manifold capabilities as an ensemble. Every musician of the ensemble is a virtuoso, graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music in Minsk - and has performed multiple times on stages in Europe, winning the highest appreciation of the public and mass media.

 

    Iouri Bolotko - ensemble tenor, was born and studied in Minsk. Graduated from School of Music and Belorussian State Academy of Music as a vocalist. Since 2004 and till present time he is a soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre in Belarus. He sang in cantatas and oratorios genre (Mozart, Puccini etc.). Also he performed the roles in the operas: The Flying Dutchman (Steering), Turandot (Pong), Nabucco (Ishmael), Eugene Onegin (Lenski), Carmen (Romendado), Prince Igor (Vladimir I). He actively combines his work in the theatre with concerts.
     Janoch Nelepa tenor, opera and chamber singer, teacher, was born in Smolensk, Russia. Graduated from School of Music in Mozyr as a pianist, Belorussian State Academy of Music as a vocalist and then post-graduated course in vocal, solo singing in Minsk. Since 1998 and till present time he is a soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre in Belarus. For the entire period he toured in Europe, Asia, Africa. He sang in cantatas and oratorios genre (Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Verdi, Haydn, Orff etc.). Also he performed the roles in the operas: Turandot (Pong), Carmen (Dancairo arrive), La Boheme (Rudolf), Madame Butterfly (Goro), The Magic Flute (Tamino), The Barber of Seville (Count Almaviva), The Flying Dutchman (Eric), Iolanthe (Vaudemont), Eugene Onegin (Lenski), Cavalleria Rusticana (Turiddu), Rigoletto (Duke) etc. He actively combines his work in the theatre with concerts.  
Mikalai Kastsyuchonak
     Mikalai Kastsyuchonak, the solo performer (on accordion, piano, baritone),  born in the north of Belarus in the city of Polotsk. Having graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music as a teacher and concert performer, he recorded his own CD of solo accordion music and worked as a music school teacher in Minsk. Since 1998 Mikalai performed as a concertmaster with the teachers’ choir of the Belarusian State University, and since 2006 is a concertmaster of the Don Cossacks choir in Germany. Wonderful melodies and magnificent arrangements are the foundation of his art.
Dzmitry Tunik
     Dmitri Tunik -  bassist, opera and chamber singer; an artist who has combined musical talent, remarkable vocal technique and outstanding acting skills. Dmitri was born in the Western Belarusian countryside in a family of workers. Since the age of 7, he attended accordion classes at a musical school. In 1988 he graduated from musical college as choir director; and in 2000 from the Belarusian State Academy of Music as vocal singer. During his concert professional career Dmitri has been a soloist of the Minsk music theater, National Opera and Ballet Theater, Theater of Opera and Academic Choir Chapel in Minsk. From time to time he performed together with the Chamber Choir of the Belarusian State Philharmonic and the Concert Orchestra of Michael Finberg.
